A fire broke out at a nightclub in Indonesia early Thursday, killing 19 people. According to initial information, people were drinking alcohol in this nightclub. During this, there was a fight between the two groups and during this time someone set fire there. The police gave information about the people killed, but did not tell what was the reason behind the incident. The incident took place in the western province of Papua.
So far 18 bodies have been recovered

Police Chief of Sorong area said – The incident started at 11 pm on Monday night. We think there was an old rivalry between the two factions. The matter is being investigated whether someone intentionally set the fire or there is some other reason behind it.

Police are examining CCTV footage installed in the area and on the outskirts of the nightclub to find out who is behind the incident. The nightclub has been completely destroyed by the fire. Many times tourists from other countries also come here. It is not yet clear whether any foreigner has also died in the incident.
There is a lot of tension in the area after the incident. Therefore, along with the police, the military has also been deployed here. An operation is underway to search the weapons and the suspects. Police has said that detailed information will be given after complete investigation.
